hi, I'm Jordan

An award-winning videographer & photographer based in Yorkshire. For the past 10 years, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing the love stories of incredible couples on their special days, and I genuinely love every bit of it. My passion for storytelling has even led to a few awards along the way!

I’m a huge cinema nerd, favourite films include;

‘A room for Romeo brass’, ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘The Dark Knight’ (obviously). With a music taste spanning from ‘Slipknot’ to ‘The Pointer Sisters’, seriously though, ‘Automatic’ is one of the greatest songs ever written.

When i’m not shooting you’ll find me hanging out with my dog Winnie or on the look out for the perfect pizza slice!

I genuinely love doing this job and hearing everyone’s stories. It wasn’t something I ever planned but I wouldn’t change it for the world. So if you’re looking for a base layer of documentary coverage, with a warm rustic topping and garnished with creativity.

my story

Growing up, I was always the friend with a camera in hand, documenting every little moment and making silly short films just for the joy of it. I’ve always been captivated by the power of storytelling—how a simple idea could come to life through the lens and create something meaningful. This passion for film drove me to pursue my studies at the Northern Film School, where I graduated in 2013. That experience gave me the foundation to explore the art of filmmaking in a professional capacity.

Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated my time to honing my craft, immersing myself in various forms of film and photography. These experiences shaped my creative perspective and gave me the confidence to experiment with different styles and approaches. While I’ve dabbled in many avenues, I found my true passion in weddings—where every moment is rich with emotion, meaning, and individuality. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about telling a couple’s story, capturing the essence of who they are and the journey they’re embarking on together.

I like to think of my role as the director, while the couples I meet are the writers. They bring their love, their quirks, their story, and I get the honour of bringing it all to life in a way that reflects their unique connection. I truly care about the cinematography involved, this isn’t just content, each frame has intent.

Watching JGVP grow over the years has been a journey filled with challenges, growth, and moments of immense pride. It’s been so rewarding to see how far it’s come, and I feel incredibly privileged to have couples place their trust in me to document one of the most important days of their lives. To me, it’s not just about filming or taking photos; it’s about telling a story that they’ll cherish forever.
